Dr. Kelli Smith graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, graduating with honors in Business Administration, Chemistry, & Health Sciences, and also played volleyball. Dr. Smith received her Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry. She completed externships at the Lexington Kentucky VAMC, Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, and the Eye Institute of Utah in Salt Lake City. After her training, Dr. Smith settled in Las Vegas with her husband and opened her own practice. Dr. Smith and her family have recently relocated to the Kansas City area. She is thrilled to get the opportunity to provide top notch eye care to the Kansas City community for years to come and looks forward to getting more involved with the community, meeting new friends, and raising her family in Kansas City. Dr. Smith is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease, and pecializes in fitting contact lenses of all types and children’s visually related learning problems.
